Freshwater Prawn Breeding Center - Kallarawa
In 2017, Food Production National Programme funded the establishment of Freshwater Prawn Breeding Centre, Kallarawa. Kallarawacentre which has a capacity to produce 25 Mn post larvae per year is situated around 350 km away from Colombo in the Trincomalee district. The centre covers an area of around 1 Acre.
