A specialized training program on the application of genetic technology in ornamental fish farming

A specialized training program on the application of genetic technology in ornamental fish farming was recently held at the District Aquaculture Extension Office in Kegalle. The session was conducted by Mr. A.R. Mudalige, Genetic Specialist, NAQDA, with financial support provided by the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council. Approximately 50 entrepreneurs actively participated in the program.

In addition, activities related to adult education were successfully integrated, utilizing the knowledge imparted by the Chairman of NAQDA.
