Consultative Workshop of Sector Development Plan for Aquaculture and Culture based Fisheries

NAQDA conducted a two days’ workshop on Sector Development Plan for Aquaculture and Culture based Fisheries at National Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture Training Institute (NIFATI), Vijithapura, Kalawewa on 30^th September and 1^st October 2020.  The consultative workshop was graced by Hon. Kanchana Wijesekara, State Minister of Ornamental Fish, Inland Fish & Prawn Farming, Fishery Harbour Development, Multiday Fishing and Fish Exports. Mr. Jayantha Chandrasoma, State Secretary, Provincial Secretaries of Fisheries Ministries, Mr. Jayantha Wijeratne, Chairman NAQDA, Prof. A. Navaratnerajah, Chairman NARA, Lieutenant Commander Raj Chandralal, Chairman Ceynor Foundation Limited, Heads of the organizations under the Ministry, and invitees of representing different institutions and universities, key stakeholders of the industry and NAQDA Officials were participated at the workshop.
