Government Notification on Cess imposed
According to the Gazette Notification No. 2047/2 dated 21.11.2017 published by the Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade under the Sri Lanka Export Development Act, No. 40 of 1979, the Cess imposed shall not apply to;
- Pond liner and shade for netting. (Para v of Section 2)
- High density polyethylene sheets, of a thickness exceeding 0.5 mm and the width not less than 4.0 m, in role form, for aquaculture ponds, lining, imported on the recommendation of the Secretary to the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development subject to approval by the Director General of Customs. (Para ix of Section 2)
with effect from 28.11.2017.
1979 අංක 40 දරණ ශ්‍රී ලංකා අපනයන සංවර්ධන පනත යටතේ 2017 සංවර්ධන උපායමාර්ග හා ජාත්‍යාන්තර වෙළඳ කටයුතු අමාත්‍යතුමා විසින් 2017.11.21 දින නිකුත් කරන ලද අංක 2047/2 දරණ ආණුඩුවේ නිවේදනයට අනුකූලව 2017 නොවැම්බර් මස 28 වන දින සිට ක්‍රියාත්මක වන පරිදි, සෙස් බද්ද පහත අවස්ථාවන්හිදී අදාල නොවේ.
- පොකුණු ආස්තරන, ආවරණ දෑ ( V වගන්තිය)
- ජල පෝෂණ පොකුණු ආස්තරණ සඳහා ආනයනය කරනු ලබන පළල මීටර් 04 ට නොඅඩු හා ඝනකම මිලි මීටර 0.5 නොඉක්මවන අධි ඝනත්වයෙන් යුතු පොලිතිලින් ප්ලාස්ටික් තහඩු (HDPE) ධීවර හා ජලජ සම්පත් අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ලේකම්ගේ නිර්දේශය මත රේගු අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල්ගේ අනුමැතියට යටත්ව, ( IX වගන්තිය )
