New Chairman to NAQDA

Mr. Jayantha Wijeratne (S.L.A.S.), assumed duties as the new Chairman of National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka. Mr. Wijeratne was graduated from University of Colombo and has earned his Post Graduate from Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (HIS), Netherlands.

He has served as a Secretary for the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development and also for several other Ministries for a number of years. He has over 25 years of experience in Government Service.
