Opening of the Coastal Aquaculture Extension and Monitoring Unit, Batticaloa

Coastal Aquaculture Extension and Monitoring Unit, Puthukudirrippu, in Batticaloa District was ceremonially open by Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera, Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development on 29^th June 2017 with the participation of Hon. Nazeer Ahamed, Chief Minister of Eastern Province, Hon. M.L.A.M. Hizbullah, State Minister of Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hon. Kirushnapillai Thurairasasingam, Fisheries Minister of the Eastern Province.

Mr. Upali Mohotti (Attorney-at-Law) Chairman NAQDA, Mr. Nimal Chandraratne, Director General NAQDA and Officers of NAQDA were also present at this event.
