Opening of the Iranamadu Aquaculture Development Centre

The National Aquaculture Development Authority, widening its services to the people in Northern Province, by opening a new fish breeding centre at Iranamadu, Kilinochchi. 

Iranamadu Aquaculture Development Centre was ceremonially open by His Excellency Maithripala Sirisena, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on 5th October 2015 with the participation of Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera, Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development, Hon. C.V. Wigneswaran, Chief Minister of the Northern Provincial Council. 

Members of Parliament and the Northern Provincial Council, Mr. Upali Mohotti (Attorney-at-Law) Chairman NAQDA, Mr. Nimal Chandraratne, Director General NAQDA, Officers of the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development, NAQDA were also present at this event.
