Aquaculture Development Center - Iranamadu

The Aquaculture Development Centre at Iranamadu, in Kilinochchi District was started its operations in 2015 and it is situated around 410 km away from Colombo near the Iranamadu reservoir. This centre covers an area of 10 ha.
The centre has breeding and rearing facilities for Tilapia, Indian Carps, and Chinese Carps. Details of the rearing facilities available in the Iranamadu Centre are given in the table.
